Shalom Faithful Supporters,
Struggling to find a balance between reporting the positive along with the negative, I hope you feel my recent updates have been on the positive side because this update will most likely be one that speaks of more upcoming events... and they aren't exactly all that heart-warming!
We are gearing up over here!
One Less Evil Dictator
Thankfully, the world now has one less evil dictator, Saddam Hussein, and even though we are unsure of the status of Iraq yet, I am glad we allowed Saddam to meet his true Maker, not the fake "Allah", face to face and account for all the blood on his hands. Some have inquired about what Israel's reply was to Saddam's death. Most of my Israeli friends said, "Good" and left it at that. You have to realize that, to Israel, it's good to see a man like Saddam punished justly, but Israel is still no safer than they were the day before. The mentality is, "One down, countless left to go!" Living on your side of the world, eliminating one dictator is enough but to Israel, which is swallowed by the entire Middle East full of crazy men like Saddam, one is not enough... It's only the beginning. Though, I did find it humorous to know that Saddam's daughter was at the spa during the time of her father's hanging. hmmmm... even his own family doesn't seem to be all that moved by his death. I really hope you hear of things like these and start to grasp the brutal mentality of Islam.
Will Israel Pre-Emptively Strike Iran?
As you are probably aware, rumor has it that Israel is planning a pre-emptive strike on Iranian facilities. There have been many different opinions about whether or not Israel should do this. If you could imagine hearing day by day the constant rhetoric from Ahmadinejad saying he's going to "Wipe Israel off the map" then you can imagine Israel's distress. I personally believe that Israel will strike within the near future. There are too many unspoken signs here that indicate this. The only thing that could prevent Israel from doing this would be if the USA directly involves itself and takes a proactive measure against Iran itself. I am more inclined to believe that Israel will act before the USA does. I hope that this is the case and even though this would drastically change the entire situation in the Middle East, I'd rather Israel go after Iran than have nukes land in our streets here.
Syria - Hizbollah - Lebanon - Gaza
The creepiest chain of words you could create are found above. Syria is faking interest in a peace agreement with Israel, all the while Hizbollah in Lebanon are back to full force as the IDF released in reports today. As though the Iranian threat was not enough, let's add another Syrian backed Hizbollah war in Lebanon! Mark my words, friends, Part II is moments away. And please don't forget how Gaza is an absolute mess with Fatah and Hamas fighting gun wars in their streets and overthrowing it's already shaky government... if you can call it a government.
Walking Their Way to The Promised Land
Islam is also taking Africa by force. The USA is completing operations in Somalia against Al-Qaeda, while Kenya is struggling to keep out the brutal Islamic factions that are threatening to take over. Ethiopia is also suffering and Sudan is in shambles.
I have an amazing story to share with you about a special group of Jewish refugees from Ethiopia that CFI has the blessing of assisting.
Now imagine with me if you will, a tribe of Ethiopian Jews that are being persecuted in Ethiopia by brutal regimes led by Muslim radicals. Things get so bad and so many people are killed violently that this tribe decides to walk their way to their home, The Promised Land of Israel. So they all band together and walk through the vastness of Ethiopia with only the clothes on their backs. They then proceed to walk entirely through war-torn Sudan avoiding, if possible, the rogue groups of Muslims that are known to hack up entire tribes with machetes. Continuing along, they arrive in Egypt where a tribe of Bedouins agree to walk them across Egypt and to the Israeli border. Trusting the Bedouins, they follow them still with only the clothes on their backs only to be tricked and while the men are forced to watch, the Bedouins rape the women. Finally, the Bedouins dump them at the border of Israel... and for the first time, these tattered, broken and beaten Ethiopians are treated humanely. The IDF border police take them and feed them. They place the women and children in special facilities where they can be fed and have shelter. The men are taken to a holding facility until they are approved as refugees and can then be released to live and work in Israel with the rights of an Israeli.
A few days ago, CFI had the honor of visiting one of these facilities for women and children. Seeing these amazing people in person who walked across the most brutal African countries just to get to Israel was the most humbling sight. We are beginning to assess their needs and will start to assist them by providing things that they need. I am so thankful to be a part of such a ministry as CFI where we see the need and meet it, by the Grace of our Messiah.
The beautiful thing? Many of this particular tribe are Believers in Yeshua!!!
I think I've left you with plenty to pray about and consider! As you watch the news and keep up with the events all around the world, remember one thing:
There's no such thing as "moderate" Islam.
And please don't worry about me... I am secure in the heart of God's will. I have no fear and I am ready for what lies ahead. Keep praying!
Psalm 91:5-7
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
